August 31: Letter is complete! Apologies for waiting until the eleventh hour!

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing (and because I know ten thousand words is a lot to write without guidance!), not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly. Also, if you see a prompt I've put for one ship but you'd like to write it for another, go right ahead! I put prompts by ship since there are some prompts I feel fit a certain dynamic better than others, but I'm not married to any of them. Mostly, just avoid my DNWs and we'll be golden. I've also written a lot (like a lot) of fics on AO3, so if you want to see what I gravitate towards, that might also give you an idea.

General Likes: 5+1 fic; Accidental baby acquisition; Alternate universes of any ilk; Angst with a happy ending; Characters getting therapy (though I prefer it be off-screen since I’m a mental health professional and will lowkey judge a bad therapy session/therapist); Exes to lovers; Found family; Non-traditional family structures (single parents, blended families, foster families, adopted families, families where there's no designated parental figure but they all consider each other family, etc.); Outsider POV; Polyamory; Pregnancy and kidfics (I’m also fine with mentions of miscarriage, abortion, pregnancy complications, etc.); Queer characters (especially non-binary characters); Romantic comedies; Smut; Worldbuilding

General Dislikes/DNWs: Body horror; Epistolary fic; Explicit queerphobia (referenced is fine); Mpreg (unless the character is a trans man seahorsing); Non-ethical non-monogamy (aka cheating, infidelity); Original siblings of canon characters; "Shipper on Deck" trope, or basically the idea that side characters in the story ship the main characters (I'm fine with other characters commenting on how well two characters suit each other romantically and being supportive of the relationship, but what really gets my goat is if the side characters are willing to give up their own happiness/well being for the sake of the main ship getting together, or are otherwise scheming to get the main characters together); Ship bashing of canon ships to make non-canon couples look better; Soulmate AUs or anything adjacent to the notion of “one true love” or someone you are “meant to find” (I’m fine if this is subverted somehow, like a soulmate AU where the main relationship aren’t soulmates); Vomit

Smut Likes: Bath/shower sex; body worship (especially breast worship); breeding kink; clothed sex; desk sex, dirty talk; dry humping (especially pillow humping, thigh humping); femdom; multiple orgasms; orgasm control (if they get to cum in the end); semi-public sex/risking getting caught

Smut Dislikes: bodily fluids other than semen/vaginal excretions used in sex (saliva is fine in amounts consistent with messy kissing or licking each other, but no spitting on each other please); female characters referring to straps as their cocks; foot kink; non-negotiated non-con; omegaverse played straight (subversions good/welcome! think alpha/alpha pairings, worldbuilding the universe to be focused on more than just sex); rimming

Important note: If you would like to combine any of my requested ships into a poly ship, feel free to do so!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Lance Hunter/Bobbi Morse: This is the ship that brought me back into fandom and fanfic after ages of being out of the fandom game.My favorite thing about Bobbi and Hunter's relationship is embodied by a speech Hunter gives Bobbi near the end of season two, where he says we can be new people, better people. I love that they are both so willing to change but also so scared of what changing means for them as individuals and their relationship. The push and pull of I want to love you but I don't know how is so iddy to me.
Prompts: Exploration of Bobbi's recovery in the season two/season three hiatus; we end season two with her saying "I can't do this anymore" and I think that deserves more exploration than it got. I also would be really interested in how being kidnapped by someone wearing the face of a person she trusted would exacerbate Bobbi's pre-existing trust issues, if you want to go that route. • I am an absolute sucker for anything casefic related, especially "undercover as a couple" tropes. I know a lot of "undercover as a couple" happens when the couple is not actually together, but I would love it equally much if they have to go undercover while also being in an established relationship.

Melinda May/Bobbi Morse: I love the dynamic between these two from the first time we see them on screen together, and it only gets more layered and complex as they know each other for longer. The similarities between them, with their devotion to S.H.I.E.L.D. and their difficulty expressing their feelings, only makes their differences stand out even more starkly and I love to see their relationship with each other and with S.H.I.E.L.D. explored.
Prompts: In early season three, May reveals that she saw Bobbi training when she was a new recruit and knew even then Bobbi would make a good agent. I would love to see an exploration of this; in canon Bobbi didn't know May was scouting her, but why not? Feel free to lean into the age gap aspect of their relationship (the actresses are nineteen years apart, even if their characters' ages are implied to be a little closer), but I prefer if May is not Bobbi's commanding officer at any point. • I love supernatural AUs and think something like a witch!AU could be really interesting in exploring femininity and power. Maybe May and Bobbi are witches from rival covens, maybe Bobbi is a new witch May has to teach to control her powers, maybe the witchiness is incidental to some other story you want to tell!

Daisy Johnson/Bobbi Morse: I love these two together an unreal amount. I love how they are so fundamentally different with how they see the world (Bobbi has learned to become more reserved and calculating where Daisy wears her heart on her sleeve) but they still agree on so much about how the world should be. I love the way Bobbi protects Daisy and the way Daisy challenges Bobbi to think outside her normal comfort zone and how they both care so, so much about each other. They should have had more time.
Prompts: Bobbi breaks quarantine when she comes to visit Daisy (either on accident or on purpose, whichever makes your heart sing). As such, she realizes that Daisy is the source of the strange happenings, and the rest of the season spins out differently. • Post Parting Shot, Daisy calls Bobbi in to help her with a situation. Can be when Daisy is on the run in the season three/season four hiatus, or as a part of a S.H.I.E.L.D. mission where Bobbi's help is off the book and unsanctioned.

Alphonso Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: Their relationship has always been so special to me in whatever form it takes; I love that when they had nothing else after the fall of S.H.I.E.L.D. they still have each other. The trust they share makes my heart flutter, and I love that Mack can see through all of Bobbi's carefully-constructed walls. The show has a lot to say about friends-to-lovers with other relationships, and I would love any expansion on those themes through Bobbi and Mack's relationship.
Prompts: An Academy fic! Based on my math, Bobbi and Mack would've started at the Academy at the same time, so even though it's not explicitly canon they've been friends since then, it's one of my most precious headcanons. I would love them meeting and being school friends in whatever way sparks joy for you, whether it's as academic rivals or kindred spirits who are immediately drawn to each other or anything in between. • Canon divergent AU where Mack is actually Bobbi's ex-husband, not Hunter. How does that change canon? How do they find their way back to each other after their divorce (if they actually got divorced in the first place?). Alternately, some sort of divergence where Bobbi and Mack get together in season two but use Bobbi's previous relationship with Hunter as a smokescreen to keep others from finding out for... reasons.

Lance Hunter/Daisy Johnson: I will never get off my soapbox of how similar these two are as people. They both have an inherent distrust of authority and come to S.H.I.E.L.D. as outsiders who are nonetheless trying to fit in. I think it's really interesting that by the time Hunter entered the picture Daisy had mostly assimilated into S.H.I.E.L.D., and then became the kind of person she had originally disliked (that is, by the book, not welcome to outsiders). I would've loved if their similarities were acknowledged or explored more in canon.
Prompts: Anything set in the season one/season two hiatus surrounding the beginning of Daisy and Hunter's relationship. What was their first meeting like? By the first episode of season two they've already met and Daisy already seems kind of over Hunter, and I'm curious what the backstory there was and how they might have developed differently. • My AOS free space prompt is always 'make someone else an Inhuman'. I know it's later confirmed Hunter isn't an Inhuman, but... what if he was? I feel like he would raise a stink at Afterlife if he was taken there, and he and Daisy could have a fun whirlwind romance when out of the context of being agents and coworkers.

Solo - Lance Hunter: My favorite thing about Hunter is how he is consistently underestimated by those around him but also consistently capable of doing amazing things despite the shitty circumstances. I also love that he is the grounding force of the agents, reminding them that S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't something that should be consuming your life (a message I think definitely gets lost in later seasons as the stakes get higher and it becomes less and less possible for S.H.I.E.L.D. not to be all-consuming). He's kind of an everyman while also being competent in his own way, and I love him for it.
Prompts: We know Hunter was in a special forces unit and subsequently left it (presumably to be with Bobbi). How did he get caught up in his military career, and was he ready to leave before Bobbi came into his life or did she change things enough to take him from a true believer to someone who was willing to leave it all behind? How does his relationship with the military affect him once he's out? • Hunter has a lot of friends in low places but we never quite learn how he made all of them. Anything missions from his time as a merc would be fun. If you need someplace to start, I would love to know what the first mission he ran with Isabelle Hartley was, as well as any missions that may have put him and S.H.I.E.L.D. on opposite sides of the gun.

Solo - Daisy Johnson: I love every version of her, from scrappy hacker Skye to competent professional Agent Johnson to superhero Quake to even more super Destroyer of Worlds. Her arcs throughout the seasons were all amazing and I loved how the show showed how her time in foster care affected her long-term and how all the previous versions of herself were still there even when she did "level up" so to speak. The thing I love most about Daisy is her compassion and her heart, and how she wants to be someone who helps the world instead of hurts it.
Prompts: The show has been (in my opinion) somewhat inconsistent in the side effects for Daisy's powers. She hurts herself when she first uses them and again in season four, but doesn't get hurt at all during season seven, even when she does her epic super quake? I would love something exploring the side effects of her powers (the microfractures in her bones, as well as any other side effects you want to come up with) as well as how that changes the way she uses her powers. • Daisy's idea of family is, understandable, messed up. Something exploring what family means to her, and who she considers her family throughout her life, would be really interesting. (Important note, I love the found family of the show but am not attached to it, so if you have strong feeling against the team being called her found family, I would be equally happy to read your interpretation of that!)

Solo - Bobbi Morse: She is so blorbo-shaped. I love everything about Bobbi, but what has kept me interested in her nearly a decade later is how many layers there are to peel back. She's so good at lying to others that I think she doesn't always realize when she's lying to herself. My favorite Bobbi moments in canon are when she's somehow conflicted, like when she realizes Real S.H.I.E.L.D. doesn't have all the answers or when she's resigned herself to having to leave S.H.I.E.L.D. forever to save her team. Basically: give her some inner turmoil and I will love it.
Prompts: What was Bobbi's childhood like? We know basically zero about her except that her parents were both alive when she married Hunter (the road trip with the Eagles song), which is a crying shame given how much we know about other characters' backstories. Also, there's an easter egg in season seven that implies her mother's name might be Susan, so do with that what you want. • Bobbi's time at HYDRA in the season one/season two hiatus! We know the general thrust of what happened, but I'm really curious as to what Bobbi was feeling at the time. Did she have any contact with others at S.H.I.E.L.D., either on Coulson's side or real S.H.I.E.L.D.? What was it like for her to be isolated immediately after her world got turned upside down with the HYDRA uprising?

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Grant Ward as anything other than a villain, Deke Shaw in any role, romantic Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons (even in the background), romantic Daisy Johnson/Phil Coulson (even in the background)

I Was a Teenage Exocolonist

Anemone/Sol: Nem's story is one of the ones in the game I find the most tragic - so many of the bad "fixed points" in the timeline seem to revolve around her, from Kom's death to her unhealthy relationship with Vace (as a side note, I'm okay with Vace-bashing to whatever degree you deem necessary, but prefer if he isn't made into a ~secretly good guy all along~). Nem starts as this precocious little wild child and then becomes someone who is so overwhelmed by grief, and I love how Sol is there for her through it all.
Prompts: I would love anything that explores the aftermath of Kom's death, and how it affects the relationship between Nem and Sol. Alternately, if you want to do a Kom Lives AU, I would be really interested in how that changes the trajectory of Nem's life and therefore her relationship with Sol. • If you're into AUs, I think any sort of sports AUs would be fun! I could see Nem as a soccer player and Sol as her rival, or Sol as her childhood best friend who she grows apart form because of her fame then reunites with, or anything of that ilk. (I only picked soccer because it's what my brain associates sportsball with for some reason, but feel free to pick another sport if there's one you know or like better!)

Cal/Sol: Cal was my first romance in the game, and if I had known how hard it would be to romance him in subsequent playthroughs I would've tried harder not to get attached. I love that even when things get more tense and it seems like there is a real possibility that the colony won't survive, Cal stands by what he believes in with his pacifism. I know one of the ways to get Cal/Sol together when Tammy is alive is to ruin Tammy's self-esteem, but I prefer that route not be mentioned (if you have to mention Cal and Tammy having feelings for each other at all).
Prompts: The whole plotline with Socks is one of my favorite in the game, so an expansion on that storyline (with a lot of shippy moments between Cal and Sol along the way!) would be so cute! • One of the other things I love about Cal is his relationship with Sol's parents when he works in Geoponics. A fic exploring how Cal's relationship with Sol's parents influences his relationship with Sol, or even just "how Cal becomes a part of the family" would be super sweet.

Cal/Sol/Tammy: Listen. I know Cal says he's not into polyamory but I think he should be, as a treat to me. The story of Cal and Tammy being the prince and princess who are meant to find each other particularly intrigues me because it's not a story they chose for themselves, it's one that was thrust upon them. I would love something that focuses on the idea of Cal, Sol, and Tammy creating their own narrative and choosing their own destiny rather than having one handed to them - especially if you loop in Sol's ability to remember past time loops.
Prompts: I would love any sort of getting-together fic, especially one that answers the question of why Cal tries a poly relationship after saying he's not interested in one (or a canon-divergences where he never says that?). I especially love if two of the three are in an established relationship before realizing they don't feel right without the third. How long would it take for that to happen? How does everyone in their life react? • An AU where Cal and Tammy are literally a prince and a princess, and Sol is their loyal knight/trusted adviser/someone else in close proximity to the throne. In canon polyamory is known and accepted, but would it be in this AU? If not, how do they keep their relationship secret? If it is, are they open about also being in love with Sol? Why or why not?

The Old Guard

Andy/Quynh I know we didn't get much of Andy and Quynh in canon, but it is exactly for that reason that I have been obsessed with them since I saw the movie. Their devotion to each other to the point where they were absolutely fine dying so long as they were together, was so good, and I loved Andy's guilt surrounding not being able to save Quynh and giving up on trying to find her and all the ways that drove Andy and will drive Quynh now that she's out of the water. I love the tragedy of their relationship, but I also love that before the tragedy there was so much joy.
Prompts: Andy and Quynh were together for centuries and must have been doing something. Any story set in a historical time period (anywhere on earth!) would be cool. If you want to write something in a time period where Quynh would've been in the water, feel free to hand-wave that away to write the historical fic of your dreams. • I fucking love romcoms, and given the tragic nature of their canon relationship, I think these two deserve some romantic comedies. My most recent favorite romcom(ish) movie was Honor Society, but I invite you to take your own favorite romcom and smash it with the Old Guard and see what happens.

Solo - Andy: Ugh, Andy. She is the embodiment of everything I find difficult or uncomfortable about immortality, from knowing you will outlive everyone you love to struggling to find meaning in life when you have all the time in the world. Losing her immortality opens so many doors to explore Andy's character more deeply and I am really excited for both what the second movie will bring and for anything you write about her!
Prompts: One of the most tragic parts of Andy's character to me is that she knows she had a family but can't remember anything about them. Something exploring that, either a fic that takes place in Andy's past and has her family present as characters, or something where she's looking back and trying to put the pieces of her memory together, would be awesome (and tragic, but mostly awesome). • Like I mentioned in my character blurb, I am really excited for what happens next for Andy now that she's mortal again. What's on her bucket list? What changes for her? What stays the same? Slice of life, domestic fic, casefic, literally whatever makes your heart sing.

Solo - Nile Freeman: She is my girl!!! I think my favorite thing about Nile is how she took the events of the movie in fucking stride despite how absolutely wild they were. I also love that even when faced with immortals who have done their best to intimidate her she doesn't stand down, and is absolutely grounded in herself and her beliefs.
Prompts: Nile has an exchange with Andy I really love about Nile's belief in God. Her feelings about religion aren't really expanded upon after this initial conversation but an exploration of religious beliefs and how they change when going head to head with immortality could be really interesting. (For context, I was raised in the church and am ambivalent now on the existence of Jesus/God, so if you're worried about causing offense or writing religion the "wrong" way, please don't be! I understand it's a touchy subject for a lot of people but I appreciate any good-faith attempt to have discussions about it.) • The last time the team got a new member was over 200 years ago, and needless to say the world changed a lot in those 200 years. I would love Nile teaching the others the intricacies of modern life - obviously they know the basics of how the Internet works, how not to get caught, etc. but like. Do they know about dating apps? Doordash? Other modern things I am assuredly forgetting? I just love the idea of Nile getting to be the expert among the immortals.

Solo - Quynh: I know that what we got of Quynh was basically scraps, but the scraps we did get intrigued me. She was a warrior like Andy, and she was thrown into the ocean, where she drowned over and over. She was fierce and obviously well-loved not only by Andy but also by Joe and Nicky, and I like to think she did something to earn that kind of love and devotion. It's not a lot to build a story on, but I like to think of it as an open window of opportunity!
Prompts: Quynh finds Nile before the rest of the Guard do. This is her first real relationship with another human since coming out of the water, and also how the rest of the Guard find out she's alive. Chaos ensues. • I love any sort of canon divergent AU where Quynh gets out of the coffin sooner, either because Andy finds her or because she's able to get herself out sooner. How does her life change, and how does it change the course of the rest of history?

The Orville

Kelly Grayson/Ed Mercer: The chokehold exes to lovers has on me should be studied in a laboratory because phew, as soon as it became evident that they still had feelings for each other I was sat. One of my favorite things about Ed and Kelly's relationship is how much they learn and grow as a command team over the course of the show, and how that might reflect on a romantic relationship if they did decide to pursue one. The absolute trust they have in each other (especially when their relationship ended because of a lack of trust!) just makes my heart sing.
Prompts: Any sort of canon divergence that leads to them getting back together. Some of my favorite canon divergence points to get them together would be after the season one finale, after the Kaylon invasion in season two, after the season two finale, or after Ed discovers Anaya's existence. Any sort of canon divergence would be welcome and juicy, though. • Kind of the opposite direction, but we don't know a ton about Ed and Kelly's relationship pre-Orville and I feel like that would be fun to explore, too! What originally attracted them to each other, and what made them decide to get married? I've seen people suggest it was almost a marriage-of-convenience type vibe because they both had similar ambitions and while I'm not sure I'm sold on that idea, I figure it's a good starting point to chew on!

Kelly Grayson/Teleya: You know how sometimes you joke about shipping something enough times that you bamboozle yourself into actually shipping it? That's what happened to me with Kelly/Teleya. So much of Teleya's story on the show is tied up in her relationship with Ed that I think it would be really interesting to explore literally anything to do with her falling for someone else, and the hateship she has with Kelly has so much potential.
Prompts: Any sort of prisoner/captor scenario - I have no preference on which one of them is the prisoner, but I feel like forced proximity in this manner would be a great way to launch them from hating each other to developing grudging respect to something more. Feel free to be as canon compliant or divergent as makes you happy. • Teleya spending time with Kelly while she is undercover as Janel (maybe she tells herself it's to get more information on Ed?) and catching feelings along the way.

Kelly Grayson/Pria: Another crackship I bamboozled myself into. Normally I'm not a big jealousy enjoyer, but Kelly's jealousy over the attention Pria was paying to Ed made me cackle with delight. Obviously the intention of the show is that she's jealous because she's still into Ed, but I think it would be easy to tweak that to her being jealous because she's into Pria instead. Obviously there's not a lot about who Pria is beyond her role as antagonist, but what is there could be really interesting to flesh out and explore.
Prompts: Pria decides not to carry out her plan of taking the Orville back to the future, and instead becomes a member of the crew for the remainder of the season. How does her relationship with Kelly start? How does it grow? • A modern AU where Pria is some sort of black market something-or-other and Kelly is a corporate worker standing in the way of what she wants would be fun. I don't mind leaning into the deception and manipulation, but prefer if the ending is at least somewhat happy/hopeful.

Kelly Grayson/Talla Keyali/Ed Mercer/Gordon Malloy: I nominated this ship with a sedoretu formation in mind, but if you have an idea where all four of them are fucking, go for it. I find these four to have such interesting relationships with each other in canon, from Ed and Gordon's years-long friendship to Kelly and Talla's newfound camaraderie, and I am just really curious how those disparate relationships could be pulled together into one cohesive polycule.
Prompts: What does polyamory look like in the future? I'm operating off the assumption it must be normal in at least some Union cultures, even if it's still not the most popular relationship configuration. How do these four come to be poly - on purpose, or through some slow slide of assembling relationships together? • In poly foursomes, I love fics that assign each person in the polycule one of a set of four (for example, the four seasons, four elements, four suits of cards, etc.) and riff of that in some way. An AU where they're all master of one element, for example. I know it's a pretty loose prompt but I love so many iterations of it that I don't want to be unnecessarily specific!

Solo - Kelly Grayson: In case you couldn't tell, I love Kelly. I love how she's set up as being an unsympathetic character but then is given a lot of depth and care and three-dimensionality. She is a deeply flawed person and makes quite a few big mistakes, but she's also a person who is trying her best to do what's right, and the complexity in her character is what makes me love her most.
Prompts: We know surprisingly little about Kelly's past and family - just that she has at least one sibling, her father had some sort of high-ranking Union position, and her mother was still alive as of the events of Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow. What's her relationship with her family like? What do they think about Kelly's career choice and her current life on the Orville? • Which of the Orville's missions has left the biggest mark on Kelly, and why? How does that mission still affect her? (Can be something we saw in canon, or another mission you make up!)

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Kelly's having sex with Darulio referred to as cheating

The Marvels

Valkyrie/Carol Danvers Kind of amazing how five minutes of screen time can make you ship something, am I right? What appeals to me most about this relationship is how they're both kind of fucked up but also so incredibly powerful, and how they're in the unique position to be able to understand each other because they share that intersection. I love the idea of them both having someone to confide in who gets it, and their relationship building from there.
Prompts: Carol and Valkyrie met before, but when Carol was Vers. Does Carol remember this? Does Valkyrie? How do they discover it, and how does it change their relationship moving forward? • The Kree need to secure an alliance with Asgard, and decide the best way to do it is by marrying off one of their warriors to an Asgardian warrior. (Aka, an arranged marriage AU.)

Kamala Khan & Monica Rambeau: I love Monica's powerful big sister energy and how these two banter together basically as soon as they meet each other. I love Monica's concern for Kamala and keeping her safe, and Kamala's enthusiasm for the adventure they're on and how that helps lighten up some of Monica's more serious tendencies. They're such good complements to each other as a team!
Prompts: How aware was Monica of Kamala before the events of The Marvels? SWORD had a file on her, but did Monica personally read it? What's her impression of this spunky teenager that's borrowing her estranged aunt's name? • In an AU where Monica doesn't get pulled through the jump point at the end of the movie, Kamala tries to convince Monica to team up with her to prank Carol.

Carol Danvers & Monica Rambeau: They make me unwell. The angst involved in them being so close before Carol disappeared, then Carol coming back without her memories only to leave again, and her not feeling like she was good enough for Monica... Again, I am unwell. I love how they both obviously care for each other so much despite their time apart, and the awkward growing back together they have to do over the course of the movie. I especially loved that their feelings weren't glossed over or ignored, and they had to fight through discomfort and hurt to find their way back to each other.
Prompts: When Monica gets pulled through to the alternate universe, Carol gets pulled through with her. • Throughout their time apart, Carol wrote letters/recorded videos/jotted notes to Monica that she never sent. (Waiving epistolary DNW for this prompt.)

Carol Danvers & Kamala Khan: I love the setup of Kamala idolizing Carol and then actually getting to meet her, and the way the movie showed how meeting your heroes can be both better and worse than you thought it would be. I love how Carol wants to make Kamala proud and how Kamala learns to give Carol the space to be a real human alongside a superhero. I also am a firm believer in allowing children/teenagers to have safe adults to turn to who aren't their parents, so Kamala having a mentor figure who understands the superpowered world she's jumping into makes my heart sing.
Prompts: Kamala gets hurt while on a mission (either with Carol there or a solo adventure that Carol hears about later). Carol does not handle it well at all. • Kamala invites Carol to present at her school's career fair, not realizing that "superhero" is probably not a career her teachers are interested in highlighting. Shenanigans and hijinks ensue.

Solo - Carol Danvers: Oh, Carol. She is exactly the kind of character I love: a strong person who has been broken down and is still trying to figure out how to build themself back up again. Her losing her identity and sense of self, and still struggling with it even years after, makes me so sad. I admire how despite that sadness, and how hard she is on herself, Carol still keeps moving (even if maybe sometimes she should slow down), and I just... she's so powerful, and so resilient, and hurting so bad, and I just love her.
Prompts: When using the Skrull memory device, Carol stumbles upon a memory she wishes could've stayed forgotten. What is it, and how does remembering it change how she lives her life after? • Please just someone give her a hug. I care not how Carol gets hugged or by whom, you could even have the cat do it for all I care. I just want her to have a hug. Or several. Five plus one hugs, maybe?

I am on vacation for the signup portion of Battleship, but this letter will be updated when I return on July 6th :)
Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing, not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Bobbi Morse: My blorbo to end all blorbos. She means everything to me. The things I love the most about Bobbi are her care and compassion for others and her devotion to S.H.I.E.L.D. as a cause. She is always trying to do what's right and recognizes that sometimes doing what's right can have really shitty consequences (see: her being willing to sacrifice herself for her team). One of the other things I find really compelling about Bobbi is how many layers she has. She is so good at hiding her feelings from others that sometimes I think she ends up hiding them from herself, too. If you want to write a more relationships-focused piece, then I love her romantic relationship with Hunter in canon but also ship her romantically with Daisy, May, and Mack. Gen-wise, it is free real estate, baby. I want to know about her friendships with everyone.

Daisy Johnson: Also extremely blorbo-shaped. Daisy went through so much growth throughout the course of the show (and so much trauma, holy shit) and I loved seeing her evolve from an anarchist hacker to a loyal agent to a superhero to Destroyer of Worlds. Everything along that arc compels me in different ways, though I have developed a recent fondness for hacker!Daisy and how she was creative and flexible to get to where she wanted to go. For shipping, my romantic ships with her change with the cycle of the moon but the pretty bulletproof ones are Trip, Sousa, and Bobbi. (Cricket, if you're reading this, I am also opting into Daisy/Ruby.) For gen relationships, my faves for her are Mack, Bobbi, and Kora but as with Bobbi, basically free real estate.

Bobbi Morse and Daisy Johnson: As I mentioned in both of their individual blurbs, I love Bobbi and Daisy either platonically or romantically (or that weird in-between queer women sometimes have where they're both into each other but don't know if the other one is into them so there's just!!! a lot of tension they may or may not act on!!!). They're both emotionally reserved in different ways (Daisy wears her heart on her sleeve but is guarded about her past, Bobbi is good at pretending like she's connecting with people but keeps a lot of vulnerability to herself) and I just love to see that dynamic play out.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Grant Ward as anything other than a villain, Deke Shaw in any role, romantic Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons (even in the background), romantic Daisy Johnson/Phil Coulson (even in the background)

Additional Prompts:

  • For Bobbi: We know basically zero of her life pre-canon, except that she was friends with Mack and married to Hunter. Anything pre-canon to explain how she came to be the agent she was, whether that be her childhood, SHIELD Academy, or her SHIELD career pre-Coulson would be awesome! (If you want to include the comics canon of her being married to Clint, that's cool, but I would prefer that be a mention and not the focus of the story.)
  • For Bobbi: In AOS canon Bobbi is never called Mockingbird, which I personally think is a crying shame. I would love to see her elevated one step above regular field agent to more of the superhero status she had in comics, but in a way that makes sense with AOS canon as we know it. Anything about her kicking ass and taking names (or training to do so, if you'd prefer a training montage!).
  • For Daisy: Daisy as leader of the Secret Warriors is a storyline I would've loved to see play out for longer in canon. We got a few episodes but it could have easily been a season in its own right. Daisy's still relatively new to the whole superhero thing for herself when she starts working with the Secret Warriors, so how does that affect her? I'd love to see some team dynamics between her, Elena, Joey, and Lincoln!
  • For Daisy: The time loop in season 7 was so much fun, and I wish that we had gotten to see more of it and Daisy in it. Tell me a story about any of the loops! (I realize this might be difficult with my Fitz/Simmons DNW due to the content/plot of the episode, so if you'd like to do this prompt but are worried about brushing up against that DNW, consider it waived - what I hope to avoid with that DNW is a fic that focuses on Daisy's opinions on Fitzsimmons's relationship or where her purpose is to get Fitzsimmons together.)
  • For Bobbi and Daisy: The scene in season 2 where Bobbi comes to visit Daisy in quarantine and call her a rockstar lives rent-free in my head. I'd love to see this expanded on more, in either a canon-compliant or canon-divergent way. What happens if Bobbi is the one who discovers Daisy's blood is different now instead of Fitz? What if the quarantine breaks when they're talking (either purposefully or not!)?
  • For Bobbi and Daisy: Post-Parting Shot reunion. I remain forever salty that Bobbi never returned after Parting Shot and would like that to change. Some points where it might be easy to have them reunite are when Daisy's on the run in the season 3/season 4 hiatus, in the Framework (Bobbi taking Trip's place?), in season 7 before they get pulled into the past, or after season 7 has concluded and everyone is just vibing. If you do romantic Bobbi/Daisy for this prompt, I'd prefer that line from Rewind about Bobbi and Hunter being "one hundred percent compatible, fifty percent of the time" not be brought up as the reason for Bobbi and Hunter's breakup. You can have them break up for a reason that amounts to the same thing, it's that specific verbiage that squicks me.

Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance/Radiant Dawn

Elincia: Elincia is one of my favorite characters in the game simply due to her backstory and her growth arc from being a sheltered young princess to a steadfast Queen. I love that she always tries to do her best for her people, but she's also more than a little out of her depth because of the way she was raised. I don't romantically ship her with much of anyone but if you have an Elinicia OTP you'd like to convert me to, I'm open to the possibility! No ship DNWs I can think of. I also love her platonic relationships with Lucia, Geoffrey, Ike, and especially Renning - her discovery that he's still alive always makes me a little weepy.

Titania: I have to admit a large part of why I like Titania is because she's just a fucking useful unit on the battlefield. I saw a Fire Emblem fancomic once where Soren got a concussion and couldn't strategize because of it, so his solution to every problem was just "send in Titania, it'll be fine" and that made me snort-laugh. Aside from utility in-game, I also find her role as second-in-command and advisor to Ike compelling, especially since Ike could've chosen someone else as his second when he ascended to leader of the mercenaries. I'm not super familiar with a lot of her support conversations or relationships with the mercenaries other than Ike, so any romantic or platonic relationship you'd like to explore with her is great for me!

Additional Prompts:

  • For Elincia: Any scenes between the end of the Mad King's War and the beginning of Radiant Dawn. I'm especially interested in the politicking side of things, since she's young and inexperienced and there's tons of Crimean nobles to satisfy (or not).
  • For Elincia: One of the things I always found interesting about FE was the relationship individual characters have to their weapons, and Elincia is no exception. By the end of Radiant Dawn Amity is locked to her inventory, and I like to believe there's a story reason to it in addition to the pure logistics of the game not wanting others to access it. What's the story behind Elincia refusing to give up her family's sword?
  • For Titania: I see amazing hurt/comfort potential in Titania. She's someone who is competent but not invincible, and I would love to see both what could take her down and who she trusts to help build her back up again.
  • For Titania: The Greil Mercenaries are on a mission and Titania gets separated from the others. What happens next? If you'd like to separate her with your romantic or platonic ship of choice, go right ahead! Tropes that could be good here are locked in together, huddling for warmth, accidental stimulation (if you're going for romance/smut).

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Carol Danvers: Oh Captain, my Captain. Poor Carol had such a shit hand and I just want her to get to be happy after so long being sad or confused or angry or guilty. The whole arc of her being underestimated again and again and again only to have her underestimate herself... I cry. I love her relationship with Maria as either romantic or platonic, and her platonic relationships with Marv-Ell, Kamala, and Monica.

Kamala Khan: MY BABY! I love how goddamn earnest Kamala is about everything, and how she maintains her optimism and her peppiness even after going through some truly bonkers shit. I also love that she is youthful without being juvenile. Yes, she lacks experience in a lot of the world but she's not naive beyond being a normal teenager, which I appreciate a lot. Her desire to do what's right even in the face of long odds is exactly what I love in my superheroes and I just want to keep her from any harm. Romantically I was not particularly captivated by either Kamran or Bruno, but if you have an idea for one of them you're dying to write, go for it! I loved all her platonic/familial relationships in both Ms. Marvel and the Marvels if you'd like to write a gen fic.

Maria Rambeau: We got criminally little of Maria in the MCU but we did see makes me love her so much. She and Carol obviously has an uphill climb with their time in the Air Force, and I assume Maria's was even worse than Carol's because of her race and her being a single mom. I love that Maria takes everything in such stride, including 'my dead best friend is not actually dead and also, there's aliens'. May we all have that energy. As I mentioned with Carol above, I like their relationship both romantically and platonically; would also be interested in exploring her mother/daughter relationship with Monica or any other platonic relationships that spark joy for you.

Monica Rambeau: Beloved!!! She was honestly the star of WandaVision for me, and obviously I loved her truly, madly, deeply in Captain Marvel and The Marvels. I love how she's a little bit jaded, especially when it comes to Carol, but she is also so incredibly kind. I love how complex her character is, how she wants so much and is also carrying around so much pain. I don't ship her romantically with anyone, but I love her familial relationship with her mom, as well as her platonic relationships with Carol, Kamala, and Jimmy. Don't really care much about Darcy but if you'd like to throw her in for a Monica&Jimmy fic go for it! I am honestly *so* chill when it comes to Monica because I just want more of her in any way I can get. (I know people who say they're super chill normally are not as chill as they say but I promise I really am!!!)

Carol Danvers and Monica Rambeau: Prefer this ship remain platonic, no romance!

Carol Danvers and Kamala Khan and Monica Rambeau: Prefer this ship remain platonic, no romance! The Marvels movie was made specifically with me in mind and I loved every moment of it specifically because of the dynamic between these three. The montage where they're working on switching their powers is *chef's kiss* and I just love them and all the messy relationships between them, between Kamala's fangirling and Monica's hurt and Carol's guilt. The movie could've been four hours long and I'd have loved it if we got more of the three of them.

Binary and Monica Rambeau: Prefer this ship remain platonic, no romance! Man what a fucking trip it would be to wake up and see someone with your mom's face who doesn't know you at all. I know we got precious little of these two in canon so I am really down for any interpretation or extrapolation of their relationship you feel called to. The "stranger with my mother's face" is the hook that pulled me in, but I'd love to see what other ground there is to tread here.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: "Thanos was right", even said jokingly; Endgame ending for Nat; Carol or Valkyrie being referred to as "lesbians" (prefer they be called bi or just generally queer, if you need to label them at all)

Additional Prompts:

  • For Carol: The Skrull memory device lives rent-free in my head. What does Carol remember? What doesn't she? What are the side effects of using it as often as she does? Anything about remembering and forgetting is super interesting to me, so if you don't like the framing of the Skrull device but want to explore the themes of memory, feel free to do it in whatever way sings to your heart.
  • For Carol: Please just someone give her a hug. I care not how Carol gets hugged or by whom, you could even have the cat do it for all I care. I just want her to have a hug.
  • For Kamala: One of the things I loved about Ms. Marvel was all the ways Kamala's culture was front and center and would love to see more of it in fic. What parts of her culture you explore are totally up to you - I'd even be up for exploring her fannishness and what it means to her to be a part of fan culture, if you don't want to address the same cultural elements the show did.
  • For Kamala: How did Kamala come to be a Captain Marvel fangirl? Who introduced her to Captain Marvel? Does everyone know, or just the people she's close to?
  • For Maria: I'd love to see more of Maria as a human outside of her relationship with Carol, in any way that compels you. What was her relationship like with Marv-Ell, or the other women she knew in the Air Force? What about her family? Monica's dad? What does she like and dislike? I just need more Maria internality.
  • For Maria: Would love to see Maria taking names and kicking ass as a pilot. If you're not into talking about her military career, I would also love to see something about the plane she has in her backyard - maybe she creates a side business of giving tours of Louisiana from the air, or takes local kids up for flights to blow their little minds?
  • For Monica: How does Monica end up working for S.W.O.R.D.? I assume it's partially her mother's and Carol's influence that led her to this career but I'd love to see why S.W.O.R.D. and not, say, the CIA or NASA or something. Also would love anything about her early career years and what it looked like for her to be an intern or someone with less clout.
  • For Monica: Learning more about her powers! There was a hell of a jump from the end of WandaVision to the beginning of The Marvels in terms of Monica's control of her powers as well as the scope of them. I love me a good training montage.
  • For Carol and Monica: I would love to see more of Carol and child!Monica's relationship. Monica obviously adored Carol and didn't believe Carol was ever dead/not going to come back. I imagine that meant Carol leaving at the end of Captain Marvel and never coming back was a huge blow to her. Maybe something across Monica's childhood/teenage years centered around whether or not she believes Carol will come back?
  • For Carol and Monica: the Aladna scene in the Marvels just makes me want more singing. So, Carol singing to Monica, Monica singing to Carol, Carol teaching Monica how to sing - lullabies, duets, karaoke, whatever makes your heart happy.
  • For Carol and Kamala and Monica: Any missing moment from the Captain Marvel movie. The timeline on that movie made my brain hurt so honestly, don't agonize too much about whether or not the missing moment could have actually happened in canon timeline wise.
  • For Carol and Kamala and Monica: Carol and Kamala's powers get entangled again. Somehow, this leads to them being able to bring Monica home. (Go as full hand-wavey on the "somehow" as you want. Seriously, you can full-on "somehow, Palpatine returned" me and I will still be delighted as long as the three of them are together at the end.)
  • For Binary and Monica: I'd love to see an extended cut of that scene where Monica wakes up and discovers she's in another universe, including an extended conversation between her and Binary. Does Monica tell Binary the truth? How does Binary feel about knowing she had a daughter in another universe? Does Binary even believe her??? I am absolutely down for anything.
  • For Binary and Monica: Binary as Monica's guide to the new universe. What that entails is up to you! I'd also love to see Monica trying to repay Binary in some way, whether that's a problem Binary needs solving or something else entirely. Basically just some reciprocity in the relationship. :)

The Orville

Kelly Grayson: I just love her so much. I was one of the people who thought I would for sure never like Kelly based on how she was introduced in canon, but she swept me off my feet with her competence and badassery. Her devotion to making amends to Ed after the situation with Darulio shows what a soft heart she has, and I also love how much she cares for everyone on her ship. In short, I love everything about her. Her romantic relationship with Ed is my favorite (exes-to-lovers has me in a death-grip) but I also ship her romantically with Talla and Pria, and could be convinced to ship Kelly/Teleya. Platonically I will shovel anything and everything I can get for her, but am especially interested in her relationships with Gordon and Isaac since we see the least of those in canon. For characters who don't appear in canon, I'm also curious what the story is between her and her dad, since he seemed to shape a lot of her worldview.

Claire Finn: My love for Claire was much more a slow-burn than my love for Kelly, but every time I've rewatched I loved something new about her. I love that she is older and wiser than the rest of the crew in some ways, but also occasionally makes dumb/impulsive decisions and has to bear the consequences of it. Her whole arc with Isaac was so out of left-field but I found myself charmed by it regardless. Romantically I ship her and Isaac, but also wouldn't mind an exploration of her ex-husband who later got turned into a bug. Platonically, I love her with her kids, but I also love the Claire&Kelly&Talla trio and their girls' nights together. Much like with Kelly, though, any platonic relationship you want to explore is fair game!

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Kelly's relationship with Darulio portrayed as cheating (I firmly believe he was in heat when they slept together for the first time and so the relationship was nonconsensual). It's fine if the characters believe that to be true or say as such, but I'd like them to be corrected either immediately or by the end of the fic.

Additional Prompts:

  • For Kelly: Not a lot is known about Kelly's life before the Orville, but it's one of the most interesting parts of her story to me. How did she end up wanting to join the Union, and what was her early career like? How does she go from the younger, care-free version of herself we see in the past to the more tightly-buttoned person of the future? Any pre-canon idea you have would be great.
  • For Kelly: Kelly in the season 2 finale alt timeline is somehow even more blorbo-shaped than regular Kelly. How does the decision not to date ed affect her, and what's it like for her carrying around so much knowledge of the future and not being able to do anything with it? What does she do instead of dating Ed?
  • For Claire: Claire says in the pilot she goes to the ships where she's most needed. How did this philosophy start, and how does it work out for her?
  • For Claire: We actually seem to get relatively little of Claire's role as the ship's doctor. What does being a doctor entail when medical technology is so advanced that you can press a button and heal a wound instantly? (Also, her HIPAA compliance is abysmal, so if you'd like to throw in some worldbuilding about why the ship's doctor is allowed to gossip about her patients in the mess hall, I'd love that too lol)

This letter is now complete!

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing, not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly. It's been a minute since I wrote a Dear Creator letter (oops), so apologies in advance is anything is unclear!

Smut Dislikes: A/B/O played straight (subversions good/welcome!); bodily fluids other than semen/vaginal excretions used in sex (saliva is fine in amounts consistent with messy kissing or licking each other, but no spitting on each other please); female characters referring to their straps as their cocks; foot kink; non-negotiated non-con; rimming

9-1-1 Lone Star

Grace Ryder/Judd Ryder: They are everything to me. I love their relationship dynamic where they take turns being the one supported and the one supporting, and how they can have difficult conversations about their relationship without it turning into a huge 'are they going to break up?' moment. Watching them become parents (and in Grace's case, a step-parent) together has made my heart so happy. I just love how they're in a happy, stable relationship that is not without its ups and downs but is at the end of the day about them being better together.

Marjan Marwani/Paul Strickland: Normally I'm not a huge fan of friends-to-lovers ships, but for them I would literally rip my heart out of my own chest. Paul saying "I just can't imagine anyone ever letting you go" made me literally pause Hulu so I could scream. I feel like them getting together would be a rough road because there's so much standing in their way (not wanting to ruin their friendship, still wanting to work together, Marjan struggling with whether or not she wants to be married to another Muslim) but they also have done hard things together before and I think they can again.

Owen Strand/Kendra Harrington: Raise your hand if you're sick of Owen getting a new love interest every season! -raises hand- I haven't been a fan of a lot of Owen's love interests over the years just because they felt very copy/paste and he seems to rehash a lot of the same insecurities with each love interest without moving forward. Kendra seemed to challenge a lot of the problems he'd had with other love interests (like being emasculated) without it being threatening to Owen and honestly, I'd just like to see them work out so Owen doesn't end up going in circles again.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Focus on 9/11 and Owen's experience with 9/11

Additional Prompts:

  • For Grace/Judd: Grace and Judd never meet in person after their prayer line conversations. How do they find each other again?
  • For Grace/Judd: Grace finds out she's pregnant again. It is markedly less exciting than finding out she was pregnant with Charlie, but that's a good thing.
  • For Marjan/Paul: Fairy tale retelling of a fairy tale of your choice. Bonus points if it's not a Western fairy tale.
  • For Marjan/Paul: One of them gets amnesia. The other one is the person they turn to in order to get their memories back. Along the way, one (or both) realizes there's unacknowledged feelings there.
  • For Owen/Kendra: Owen finds out the truth about Kendra's first ex-husband. (Preferably she didn't actually murder him, but if you want to go that route, self-defense or something please?)
  • For Owen/Kendra: Owen has to learn to navigate the world of the 1%. He learns there's a lot more politics involved in being rich. (Feel free to make this a character study, a political drama, or any other direction you want to go.)

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Lance Hunter/Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: Bestie, beloved, and bastard (not necessarily in that order). There's so many bread crumbs about how their relationship developed over the years but we never get the full story, which could easily be a love story. There's so much complexity within each individual relationship (see my blurbs below about Bobbi/Mack and Hunter/Mack) that I just cannot stop thinking about them.

Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: I was gone on them from the first time they were on screen together and finishing each other's sentences. They know each other so well (in Mack's case, I think he knows Bobbi better than Bobbi knows Bobbi) and obviously care deeply about each other (Bobbi saving Mack on the Iliad?! Hello!?!?). There's also several moments in late season 2/early season 3 where Bobbi, at least, is obviously flirting with Mack ("you're one to talk, pretty boy" are actual words out of Bobbi's mouth, like, okay, just kiss him???) and I would love to see the flirting lead somewhere.

Lance Hunter/Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie: Are you beginning to sense a theme here? I literally do not care in what formation Mack, Bobbi, and Hunter kiss each other. I am particularly interested in the Mack/Hunter relationship because it's the least fleshed out in canon. They have the kind of relationship where they're comfortable teasing each other but we never see them have many in-depth conversations (partially because for the majority of their on-screen friendship Mack was actively lying to Hunter). I'm particularly interested in how they stayed connected after Bobbi and Hunter split, and the fallout of the Real S.H.I.E.L.D. storyline; Hunter forgives Mack but it's stated in canon that's more to spite Bobbi than anything, so I'd be curious what the actual feelings beneath that are.

Lance Hunter/Daisy Johnson/Bobbi Morse: One of the things that makes me sad about the latter seasons of AoS is that Daisy doesn't really have anyone in her corner, and I don't think that it's an accident that this lack of support happens after Bobbi and Hunter leave. They both obviously care about her (and she cares about them) and while Bobbi and Hunter's individual relationship is messy I feel like Daisy is well-equipped to deal with relationship dysfunction.

Bobbi Morse/Daisy Johnson: Bobbi's protectiveness over Daisy during the Inhuman arc is something that can be so personal... Bobbi calling Daisy a rock star, stopping the Real S.H.I.E.L.D. agent from hurting her, working on the Iliad to help rescue Daisy from the attacking Inhumans... I just think about them a lot. Daisy would get Bobbi out of her stoic shell, Bobbi would protect Daisy and offer her a soft place to land.

Lance Hunter/Daisy Johnson: I just think these two have so much potential. They're both outsiders to S.H.I.E.L.D. with a distrust of authority, they both occasionally make impulsive decisions in pursuit of saving the people they love, they both have daddy issues (implied or otherwise) and for the first few episodes of season 2 it really seemed like they might be a thing. I love the idea of them being two kindred spirits who found a home in each other and just the general vibe between them. Bonus points if you touch on how canon treated them very differently (Daisy becomes the badass hero, Hunter stays the comic relief who is disliked by at least some members of their team) despite their core traits being the same.

Daisy Johnson/Antoine Triplett: It is a tragedy that these two never got to explore what might have been between them. I loved how Trip brought so much joy and life to the team and to his relationship with Daisy, and how he could understand he betrayal with Ward because he was also betrayed by HYDRA. It felt like they could have been something good but just never got the chance.

Daisy Johnson/Daniel Sousa: One of the best parts of season seven for me. I love how Sousa was immediately on Daisy's side and willing to help her and protect her. After the mess that was seasons five/six and Daisy's emotions constantly being pushed to the side for others' sakes, it was so nice to have someone who was there for her and showed that he was there for her.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Grant Ward as anything other than a villain, Deke Shaw in any role, romantic Fitzsimmons (even in the background), romantic Skoulson (even in the background)

Additional Prompts:

  • For Mack/Bobbi/Hunter: Mack keeping in touch with Bobbi and Hunter after they leave in Parting Shot. (Feel free to ignore my epistolary DNW if you go this route, but I am also interested in how they could organize in-person meetings while evading the Russian government.)
  • For Mack/Bobbi/Hunter: How do they get together/what happens before canon? This could lend itself really well to a 5+1 fic (5 times they almost kiss and 1 time they don't), casefic (what mission do they go on before they get together?), or anything else your heart desires.
  • For Mack/Bobbi: Academy AU! If I did my math correctly Bobbi and Mack would've joined the Academy in the same year, which has lived rent-free in my brain since then. What sort of shenanigans did they get up to?
  • For Mack/Bobbi: I'd love some sort of Hope Lives AU where Bobbi and Mack co-parent Hope (alongside Mack's ex, if that's your jam). Being a parent could definitely change Bobbi's views on S.H.I.E.L.D. being a lifestyle rather than a job, and I just... want Bobbi and Mack to get to be fluffy and happy.
  • For Mack/Hunter: Clothes swapping/sharing. Mack's clothing would obviously be way too big on Hunter and Hunter's way too small on Mack, but how do they make it work?
  • For Mack/Hunter: Flower shop/tattoo artist AU. I think they both could work well for either role and would just love to see a sweet, soft love story develop between them.
  • For Daisy/Bobbi/Hunter: Canon divergence during/after Parting Shot that results in them getting together. This can be Bobbi and Hunter not leaving, Daisy leaving with them, or anything in between. An emotional moment like that seems like fodder for feelings confessions, so give them one!
  • For Daisy/Bobbi/Hunter: Didn't know they were dating. Daisy thinks she's third wheeling Bobbi and Hunter; Bobbi and Hunter think they're wooing her. (Feel free to do this with any other formation as well, like Daisy/Hunter wooing Bobbi, Bobbi/Daisy wooing Hunter, all of them individually thinking they're dating one person but not the other... I just put Bobbi/Hunter as the couple since they are in canon.)
  • For Daisy/Hunter: Hunter goes with Daisy to The Retreat (the cabin she stays in after getting her Inhuman powers). What happens next can be smut, bonding over the trauma of being in S.H.I.E.L.D., a total AU of s2 onwards based on how Hunter being there changes things -- whatever calls to you.
  • For Daisy/Hunter: Framework AU where instead of Daisy waking up and finding herself in a relationship with Ward, she finds herself in a relationship with Hunter. Cue a lot of confused feelings that may or may not be acted on in the Framework or when she gets back to the real world.
  • For Daisy/Bobbi: Inhuman AU. I've read a lot of fics where other AOS characters get Inhuman powers and think Daisy/Bobbi as a literal power couple would be fun. (To be clear, I prefer Daisy keep her powers as well, instead of giving Bobbi Daisy's powers.)
  • For Daisy/Bobbi: After going on the run post season 3, Daisy seeks comfort in an old friend.
  • For Daisy/Trip: Instead of dying, Trip also goes through Terrigenesis. Only problem is he's invisible, and can't figure out how to become visible again (or tell the team that he's still alive).
  • For Daisy/Trip: Season seven timeline hopping, the team encounters a timeline where Trip is still alive. Naturally, this brings up some feelings for Daisy
  • For Daisy/Sousa: Adventures in space! I loved the finale had Daisy getting to lead her own little offshoot of S.H.I.E.L.D. and just have a fun time. I'm a sucker for sci-fi so would love to see her exploring some alien planets with Sousa (and whatever shenanigans happen as a result).
  • For Daisy/Sousa: Sousa learning about/adjusting to modern life, whatever that means to you.

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Thor/Bruce: I loved the way Ragnarok developed the relationship between the two of them. There are some relationships within the Avengers that feel less fleshed-out, and this was definitely one of them. The humor of it, along with the pair of them being stuck in a pretty bad situation together, really intrigued me and got me thinking what it would be like if we got even more of this relationship, maybe under better circumstances.

Valkyrie/Thor: The bisexuals feasted when Ragnarok came out. (Me. I'm the bisexuals.) Their mutual angst was so delicious, and I love how they both needed each other to work through their respective problems. I'm a sucker for a power couple and these two definitely fit that definition.

Carol Danvers/Valkyrie: Valkyrie showing up for Carol (literally) is something Carol really needs after years of being a loner/blaming herself for things that weren't her fault. I'm sure Val has some self-blame too for what happened with Hela, and I just love two imperfect people finding their way to each other and learning how to heal.

Carol Danvers/Maria Rambeau: You know what keeps me up at night? Thinking about what it would be like to lose one of the people closest to you and then one day she shows up with barely any memory of you to speak of. It hurts so good!!! We got a lot of this relationship from Carol's perspective, but I would love to get some of Maria's views on it too, especially after their reunion.

Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov: What can I say, other than that CA:TWS exists? Nat teasing Steve, their trust in each other, all of the history between the Avengers and CA:TWS... In general I wish Marvel dug in deeper to everyone's relationships, but this one especially had so much romantic tension and untapped potential.

Clint Barton/Natasha Romanov: My ship from 2012 that has haunted me ever since. I love how they know each other so deeply and intimately, how they're devoted to each other and making sure the other is okay, how much trust there is between an ex-assassin and the agent who was sent to kill her... They hit so many buttons for me and I loathe how their relationship was deconstructed in the later movies.

Scott Lang/Hope Van Dyne: I love this golden retriever man and his black cat girlfriend. Their rivals-to-lovers was so juicy and Scott's ability to understand Hank and Hope as both individuals and as a family unit showed so much of why he's a good human in addition to being a good superhero. I just forever want more of them figuring things out together.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: "Thanos was right", even said jokingly; Endgame ending for Nat; Carol or Valkyrie being referred to as "lesbians" (prefer they be called bi or just generally queer, if you need to label them at all)

Additional Prompts:

  • For Carol/Valkyrie: Carol and Valkyrie met before, when Carol was fighting in the Kree army. When, where, and how did they meet?
  • For Carol/Valkyrie: Arranged marriage/marriage of convenience/just marry them somehow.

Motherland: Fort Salem Raelle Collar/Abigail Bellweather: The love and loyalty between these two just gets me so hard. They obviously care a lot for each other despite all their bickering and they're also both so powerful in different ways! Abigail's "you're a shitbird but you're my shitbird" makes me absolutely feral and Raelle's hatred for the military but her love for Abigail is also just -clenches fist-. I feel like their development as friends definitely dropped off in season 3 after they both got their respective love interest and I would love to see that intimacy return in whatever way you see fit.

Raelle Collar/Abigail Bellweather/Tally Craven: The only way to make a found family better is to make it a polycule. I love how all three of these girls balance each other. They see the world very differently and it's the differing perspectives that allows them to be so strong together. Their early season dynamic was immaculate and as with Abigail/Raelle above, I didn't really enjoy how season 3 seemed to mostly split them up or make their love interests more important to them than their relationship with each other.

Tally Craven/M: Listen, there were points in season 3 where I totally thought these two were going to bang and that was what kept me watching. M is such an interesting character to me and also obviously feels protective of the Bellweather unit. I would love to see how their protection of the unit bleeds over into a romantic relationship. Also, I feel bad for Tally because Gregorio was the least developed of any of the unit's love interests and mostly seemed to be there so she wouldn't be the only one left alone.

Fandom-specific DNW: Tally Craven/Sarah Alder romantically

Additional Prompts:
  • Honestly, please just rewrite season 3. There was so much about it I disliked (especially the weird thing where Abigail and Adil were planning to have a baby???) and I feel like it would've been so much better if it had been more... grounded and there weren't so many weird power jumps and power creep.
  • Go wild with worldbuilding and use the characters of choice as a framing device for whatever worldbuilding you would like to do! Of particular interest to me is magical history and how queer people fit into this world of magic, but if that's not your jam do what calls to you.
  • Beltane, but change it. Are the main ship drawn in by the reel, or are they the losers hanging out together while everyone else fucks?

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Poe(/Finn)(/Rey): I'm putting Poe/Finn, Poe/Rey, and Poe/Finn/Rey all in one section because most of what I have to say is the same: their relationships had so much potential and it was thrown away for the sake of plot twists and Kylo. There's such genuine affection and warmth between all three of them, which neither Rey nor Finn really got to experience before. I love Poe being the one to give them the love they deserve, and for them to love him in return (either separately or together).

Additional Prompts:
  • Finn-is-a-Jedi AU, please! I'm sure this would affect his relationships with everyone else and there would be ripples there. How does Poe feel knowing Finn and Rey share something he doesn't? (If you want to throw in Jedi!Poe too, be my guest.)
  • Rey gets pregnant, either during the movies or afterwards (during could be fun for canon-divergent purposes but after could be fun for fluff purposes). It doesn't necessarily have to be Poe's baby (or Finn's for the OT3) but if it is Kylo's I would prefer that not be a voluntary thing.

The Old Guard Andy/Quynh: Oh my God, tragic sapphics. The fact that Andy still thinks about Quynh hundreds of years after they last saw each other… literally just stab me and twist the knife. I love the idea of undying love like that, but also what their love looked like before Quynh died (especially since I think it was implied that at some point Quynh and Lykon were an item?). Again, I am such a blank slate when it comes to these two, anything you create I will love.

Celeste/Nile: I love them both so much. Both Nile and Celeste bring such hope into a movie that could otherwise be considered kind of depressing, and their hope fits so well together. Really interested in any sort of exploration of the dynamic between them and the juxtaposition of their hope vs Andy's doom and gloom (or any other sort of contrast you can come up with).

Andy & Quynh & Nile & Joe & Nicky: -chants- Team as family! Team as family! Honestly I just love the way this crew takes care of each other and how even though they've been together for hundreds of years they still love and care for and support each other. We should all be so lucky to have a family we can tolerate after hundreds of years, lol. Their simultaneous competence and world-weariness, how they have such different opinions and perceptions of the world and their purpose in it... I simply just love them.

Additional Prompts:
  • For Andy/Quynh: Take a rom-com, any rom-com. Make it Andy and Quynh. That's it that's the prompt. Bonus points if their queerness is never really brought up in the romcom and the main conflict is something entirely unrelated to them both being women. (My favorite rom-com is 10 Things I Hate About You, if you need an idea of what kind of rom-coms I like.)
  • For Andy/Quynh: Modern AU? Interpreting a centuries-long love story in a normal-person timeline would be so interesting, because what does it mean to have lost someone as long and as completely as Andy lost Quynh? How does the relationship change without the push and pull of immortality in the mix?
  • For Nile/Celeste: Involve Celeste in the rest of the film, instead of the single scene with Andy. How do things change when this convenience store worker is dragged along into a sprawling conspiracy theory and a world of mercenaries and corporations and everything else?
  • For Nile/Celeste: Mundane AU. Would love if Celeste was a convenience store worker and Nile was a regular who had a crush on her, or if they were two students at the same university, or literally any other scenario that gives them space to breathe in an otherwise hectic life.
  • For The Guard: I think it was implied at some point in the movie that the guard didn't always work for good -- I'd love to hear them talk with Nile about that, what changed their minds, etc. etc. Alternatively, dark!Guard would be a fun thing to explore too -- what makes them snap? What damage can four (or five) pissed off immortals do?
  • For The Guard: Any sort of mission fic. Send them out on a rescue mission, a heist, a vacation that goes wrong... I just like to see them working together as a team having a good time (or an absolutely wretched time, if you would like).

The Orville

Kelly Grayson/Ed Mercer:Unfortunately I am overly invested in whether or not Ed and Kelly will get back together. Their trust in each other as Captain and XO is so beautiful to see, especially since the core conflict in the beginning of the show was Ed's resentment towards Kelly for breaking his trust. Their loyalty and devotion to each other also really gets me really emotional and I just want them to find their way back to each other.

Kelly Grayson/Pria: I am a simple enby, and the only thing better than one hot lady is two hot ladies. I know Pria was a one-episode guest star but I personally have not been able to stop thinking about how much more fun and interesting it would have been if Pria had tried to seduce Kelly instead of Ed. There's just a lot of potential for juicy dynamics when you add "they should kiss" into a relationship, you know?

Kelly Grayson/Talla Keyali: Honestly I just haven't been enthused with any of the attempted love interests for Talla, but thinking about Talla and Kelly together makes my brain go wild. I love how Talla is one of the only people Kelly lets loose around and how they confide in each other about their private lives while trusting each other in their professional ones. Similar to above, I just think it would be neat to see how this dynamic changed if romance was added to the equation.

  • For Kelly/Ed: A Parent Trap AU. (Feel free to use OC children for this one, or find a way to work Anaya into the role. Not a big fan of the Orville crew being aged down into children to fit the plot.)
  • For Kelly/Ed: Any sort of canon divergence that results in them getting back together. It can be when they try dating again in season 1, after the Kaylon invasion in season 2, after the wedding in season 3... Just, get them back together, please.
  • For Kelly/Pria: An AU of 1x05 where instead of seducing Ed to steal the Orville, Pria attempts to seduce Kelly. (Bonus points if you can find a way to make Pria "come to the light", so to speak, and have her join the crew instead of stealing the ship.)
  • For Kelly/Pria: Some sort of corporate AU where Kelly is on the board of directors at a corporation Pria is attempting to infiltrate via corporate espionage. (If you're into smut, this would be a great opportunity for some desk sex...)
  • For Kelly/Talla: Talla coming to Kelly for help with sex advice (either when she was having difficulty having sex with John in canon or another time). Does it lead to them having sex (so Talla can demonstrate her problem, of course), or something else?
  • For Kelly/Talla: Role reversal AU, whatever that means to you. (Talla was married to Ed? Kelly is Xeleyan? Talla is the first officer and Kelly the security officer? Something else you with your amazing imagination will come up with?)

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing, not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly. It's been a minute since I wrote a Dear Creator letter (oops), so apologies in advance is anything is unclear!

Lance Hunter/Melinda May: I love me a good annoyances to lovers story! They're not enemies because they're always on the same side, but they're also definitely not friends. I also think it's interesting that May is upset with Hunter for only being in S.H.I.E.L.D. for Bobbi while May herself admits that she's only there for Coulson. That double standard being explored would be really fun. (And maybe May also is a little annoyed with Hunter because she finds him attractive but doesn't think it's appropriate for whatever reason...?)

Bobbi Morse/Melinda May: Sometimes you just want to see two badass ladies being badass together. I love the implied history between Bobbi and May, and especially what May said in early season 3 about Bobbi being one of the most talented agents she's ever seen. There's obviously a lot of mutual respect between the two of them and I would love to see what would happen if they could let their guards down.

  • For May/Hunter: Hunter has to fight May in the fight club to infiltrate HYDRA. They talk it out and/or fuck it out afterwards.
  • For May/Hunter: Hunter is a merman, May is a pirate captain, they collide (figuratively or literally).
  • For May/Bobbi: What is Bobbi and May's story pre-canon? How often did they encounter each other before May became a desk jockey? After? (Don't feel the need to be canon compliant here if that doesn't spark joy - just something set in the general time period would be ace.)
  • For May/Bobbi: May and Bobbi are witches from rival covens. This doesn't stop them from falling in love anyways. (Or basically, Romeo and Juliet but make it magic.)

Girl Meets World

Lucas Friar/Maya Hart/Riley Matthews: The literal opinion of the 'they have two hands' meme. Who has two hands? Literally all of them! They have been such good friends to each other and there's been romantic tension between literally all of them at some point (even if they wouldn't acknowledge the Riley/Maya tension because Disney). I love Maya with my whole hart (get it?) and I just want to see her happy. Riley and Lucas make her happy, and that is literally all I need.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: N/A

Additional Prompts:

  • How do the three of them learn about polyamory? Is it something they even have to learn about, or do they all decide it's what they want without even knowing there's a word for it?
  • I know Maya's thing about Lucas being a cowboy is played mostly for laughs, but... some sort of Western AU would be really fun. Maya might be a fun Annie Oakley kind of character, Lucas as your stereotypical cowboy, Riley as a barmaid -- or whatever other roles you want to give the characters!
  • Girl Meets College. Basically their college shenanigans, especially if they still find a way to cause chaos when all three of them are on different college campuses.

I Was A Teenage Exocolonist

Anemone/Sol: Nem was so close to being my first romance partner, but then I ended up choosing someone else and still regret it to this day. I love how Nem is the antithesis of a girly girl (her love for sports is my favorite) and how many different paths her story can take. Also, re: Sol's gender, I put both Female Sol/Nem and Sol/Nem in my signups in case someone offered only for fem!Sol, but have no preference for their gender, pronouns, genitalia, etc. Solane is my preferred name of the given options, but I'm fine with any name for Sol as well (or just calling them Sol!).

Fandom-Specific DNWs: N/A

Additional Prompts:

  • Sol helps Nem navigate breaking up with Vace and supports her emotionally afterwards. Feel free to go into as much or little detail about Vace's abuse as you're comfortable with - this could be super whumpy (Nem shows up at Sol's door bloody and bruised) or super fluffy (Sol teaching Nem what a healthy relationship feels like) and I am absolutely into whatever direction you choose.
  • Something exploring Nem's scales would be fun! Maybe she gifts Sol something made from her shed scales? Her scales are helpful in [insert activity of your choice here]? I love the genetic modification elements of canon and would love to see that explored more in a worldbuilding context as well.
  • Anemone doesn't want kids despite her mom being one of the more prolific parents. She also will have one or two kids if Sol wants them. I'd love to see this explored in some way - accidental pregnancy? Her mom pushes her to have a child? Some other way?

Marvel Cinematic Universe

Carol Danvers/Valkyrie: I was honestly shook this still counted as a rarepair because they are canon to me. Valkyrie showing up for Carol (literally) is something Carol really needs after years of being a loner/blaming herself for things that weren't her fault. I'm sure Val has some self-blame too for what happened with Hela, and I just love two imperfect people finding their way to each other and learning how to heal.

Natasha Romanoff/Sam Wilson: I just love Sam so bad. He takes being thrown into a world of superheroes and government conspiracies in stride and does his best to support the people around him. I love him and Nat because they're in some ways polar opposites (Sam is very in touch with his emotions, Nat ignores hers) but in other ways just the same (guilty consciences, heroic sacrifices, etc).

  • For Natasha/Sam: Natasha and Sam meet in the Air Force - is Natasha a pilot? Does she have wings like Sam? How the hell did Nat get in the Air Force in the first place? What happens next?
  • For Natasha/Sam: Nat shows up when Sam is battling the Flagsmashers, or Sam shows up when Nat is dismantling the Red Room.

Ted Lasso

Samuel Obisanye/Rebecca Welton: This ship unexpectedly swept me off my feet in canon. I never would've picked the two of them as a pairing but once it happened it felt really natural. Sam's optimism is a nice counterpoint to Rebecca's cynicism, and it was nice to see an older woman flirt with a younger man (while they were both still aware of the power imbalances between them). I wish we could've gotten more hints of how their relationship would've worked out, because it seems like canon kind of dropped any hint of them being attracted to each other after they decided not to pursue it.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Michelle/Dr. Jacob explicitly/in the foreground (you don't want to hear my rant about how unethical Dr. Jacob's behavior is)

Additional Prompts:

  • Richmond is a women's soccer team, not a men's team. Samantha Obisanye is one of their star players, and she has the biggest gay crush on her boss.
  • The press are incensed when they learn that Sam is transferring teams. They don't know it's because he wants to be able to date Rebecca without her fretting over it being an abuse of power. (This could be fun for an Outsider POV fic, and also consider my epistolary DNW waived if you want to have the story told through newspaper clippings and the like.)
  • Chef AU where Sam is a chef at Ola's and Rebecca is a frequent customer/food critic/rival restaurant owner/literally anything your heart desires.

I'm going to be honest with you, normally in these things I like to give a detailed paragraph or two about what I like about each of the ships I requested, but I just requested way too many things for Battleship for that to be feasible with the time I have 😂 A lot of these ships I've requested before, so feel to poke around in my Dreamwidth for those paragraphs if you'd like, but this is going to be more like a list of prompts for each fandom/ship to get your creative juices flowing. I'm also on the Battleship Discord and entirely fine on being poked, prodded, or otherwise asked for clarification.

I Was a Teenage Exocolonist
  • Any: It's implied in canon that they don't normally have children the "normal way" in order to keep the gene pool deep enough to swim in, so to speak. I'd love to see that explored - both the baby-making itself and what comes after. Preference for pregnant!Sol over pregnant!Tammy if you choose the poly ship. Potential Tags: Assisted reproduction, babies, caretaking, celebratory sex, cuddling, cunnilingus
  • Cal/Sol: We see Flulu give Sol "the talk", but I would love if Cal's parents gave him a different variation of "the talk" and they compare notes. (To be clear, "compare notes" is in fact a euphemism for "have sex".) Potential tags: Coming in pants, hands-on sex ed

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing, not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly.

General Likes:

  • 5+1 fic
  • Accidental baby acquisition
  • Alternate universes of any ilk
  • Angst with a happy ending
  • Characters getting therapy (though I prefer it be off-screen since I’m a mental health professional and will lowkey judge a bad therapy session/therapist)
  • Exes to lovers
  • Found family
  • Non-traditional family structures (single parents, blended families, foster families, adopted families, families where there's no designated parental figure but they all consider each other family, etc.)
  • Outsider POV
  • Polyamory
  • Pregnancy and kidfics (I’m also fine with mentions of miscarriage, abortion, pregnancy complications, etc.)
  • Queer characters (especially non-binary characters)
  • Romantic comedies
  • Smut
  • Worldbuilding

General Dislikes/DNWs:
  • Body horror
  • Epistolary fic
  • Explicit queerphobia (referenced is fine)
  • Mpreg (unless the character is a trans man seahorsing)
  • Non-ethical non-monogamy (aka cheating, infidelity)
  • "Shipper on Deck" trope, or basically the idea that side characters in the story ship the main characters (I'm fine with other characters commenting on how well two characters suit each other romantically and being supportive of the relationship, but what really gets my goat is if the side characters are willing to give up their own happiness/well being for the sake of the main ship getting together, or are otherwise scheming to get the main characters together)
  • Ship bashing of canon ships for non-canon couples
  • Soulmate AUs or anything adjacent to the notion of “one true love” or someone you are “meant to find” (I’m fine if this is subverted somehow, like a soulmate AU where the main relationship aren’t soulmates)
  • Time loops
  • Vomit

9-1-1 Lone Star

Grace Ryder/Judd Ryder: They are everything to me. Everything that we learn about them in canon makes me go HEART EYES MOTHERFUCKER and I just think we should get more of them. Judd loves and respects Grace so much and I love that their relationship went from her supporting him through his PTSD to him being the epitome of 'that's my wife!'. Everything about their dynamic (and their backstory, God!!!) just makes my brain go brr.

Grace Ryder/Judd Ryder/Tommy Vega: Basically every exchange I'm a part of I end up seeing one of the nominated relationship tags and thinking to myself 'well that sounds neat', and this is that ship for this exchange lol. I'm particularly interested in the 'getting together' aspect of their relationship: does it happen before Charles dies or after? Who initiates? How do they keep it a secret (if they do) or tell their friends and family (if they do that instead)? I just have a lot of questions I would love to see someone else's take on.

Marjan Marwani/Paul Strickland: Normally I'm not a huge fan of friends-to-lovers ships, but for them I would literally rip my heart out of my own chest. When Paul said "I just can't imagine anyone ever letting you go" and I yeeted myself into the sun. Basically every element of their canon relationship is perfect to me, and I would just like them to kiss.

Owen Strand/Kendra Harrington: Raise your hand if you're sick of Owen getting a new love interest every season! -raises hand- Mostly I want these two to work out because I don't want Owen to get yet another love interest, and it seemed like Kendra was a good fit for him (especially being able to call him out on his bullshit). I think there's some really interesting bits in their relationship about power, with her being more financially powerful than him and him being more physically powerful than her, but mostly I just want stability for Owen.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Focus on 9/11 and Owen's experience with 9/11

Additional Prompts:

  • For Grace/Judd: Grace finds out she's pregnant again. It is markedly less exciting than finding out she was pregnant with Charlie, but that's a good thing.
  • For Marjan/Paul: Fairytale retelling of a fairytale of your choice. Bonus points if it's not a Western fairytale.
  • For Grace/Judd/Tommy: Would love to see what the church biddies have to say about their relationship, especially if they don't figure out that the relationship is polyamorous and consensual. Outsider POV would be great for this.
  • For Owen/Kendra: Owen finds out the truth about Kendra's first ex-husband. (Preferably she didn't actually murder him, but if you want to go that route, self-defense or something please?)

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Lance Hunter/Skye | Daisy Johnson: I just think these two have so much potential. Bonus points if you touch on how canon treated them very differently despite their core traits being the same.

Lance Hunter/Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: Bestie, beloved, and bastard (not necessarily in that order). I love all the complicated history that hasn't been explored between these three, the years of friendship and love and pain and everything in between. One of my biggest pet peeves with AOS canon is how post-Parting Shot, Bobbi and Hunter are basically not talked about, not even by Mack. The utter heartbreak on his face when they were leaving, then nothing? Give me a break. There's just so much to dig into here and at the foundation of it all is love and friendship and I am in love with them.

Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: The utter romance of someone knowing you better than you know yourself... I knew I was gone on them from the first time they were on screen together and finishing each other's sentences. There are several moments in late season 2/early season 3 where they are obviously flirting with each other ("you're one to talk, pretty boy" are actual words out of Bobbi's mouth, like, okay, just kiss him???) and I just want to see that actually followed through on.

Lance Hunter/Alphonso "Mack" Mackenzie: Are you beginning to sense a theme here? I literally do not care in what formation Mack, Bobbi, and Hunter kiss each other. I am particularly interested in the Mack/Hunter relationship because it's the least fleshed out in canon - they're obviously still close but we don't know as much about how or why they stayed connected even after Hunter and Bobbi split, and I'm just. So eager for more of them.

Victoria Hand/Isabelle Hartley: If you're confused by this ship, it's basically an amalgamation of Vicizzy being comics canon and Izzy calling Vic "Vic" in AOS canon (even though she says to one of the other agents she doesn't like that name... sure, Jan). Basically I think it sucks that the show split up a comics-canon lesbian couple just so they could bury the gays without being called out for burying the gays. They've never interacted on-screen in AOS so I am fine with literally any direction you want to take this as long as they're together.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Grant Ward as anything other than a villain, Deke Shaw in any role, romantic Fitzsimmons, romantic Skoulson

Additional Prompts:

  • For Hunter/Daisy: Hunter goes with Daisy to The Retreat (the cabin she stays in after getting her Inhuman powers). What happens next can be smut, trauma bonding, a total AU of s2 onwards based on how Hunter being there changes things -- whatever calls to you.
  • For Mack/Bobbi: Academy AU! If I did my math correctly Bobbi and Mack would've joined the Academy in the same year, which has lived rent-free in my brain since discovering that. What sort of shenanigans did they get up to?
  • For Mack/Hunter: "Wait, we're the ones going undercover as a couple for a mission? Why?" / "Are you two... not a couple???" (Bonus points for the fic taking place between season 1 and season 2, extra bonus points for outsider POV.)
  • For Vic/Izzy: Victoria Lives AU! Bonus points if Izzy is the one to rescue her from Ward or nurse her back to health after her near-death experience.

Motherland: Fort Salem

M/Tally Craven:

Abigail Bellweather/Raelle Collar:

Abigail Bellweather/Raelle Collar/Tally Craven:

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Romantic Sarah Alder/Tally Craven

Additional Prompts:

  • For M/Tally:
  • For Abigail/Raelle: Academic rivals-to-lovers who don't realize they're so obsessed with each other in part because they're crushing hard on each other. If you've ever read I Kissed Shara Wheeler, those vibes are immaculate.
  • For Abigail/Raelle/Tally:

Ted Lasso

Keeley Jones/Roy Kent/Jamie Tartt: I feel like Ted Lasso really missed the boat on this one because all of them have such love and affection for each other and it's just so!!!!! I love the way Roy opens up, Jamie grows up, and Keeley glows up. They bring out the best in each other and the triad helps mitigate some of the negative aspects of the individual relationships and really that's what love's about. Any part of their relationship, from getting together to going domestic, is fucking catnip to me.

Fandom-Specific DNWs: Michelle/Dr. Jacob explicitly/in the foreground (you don't want to hear my rant about how unethical Dr. Jacob's behavior is)

Additional Prompts:

  • Canon divergence from the scene in the finale where Jamie and Roy show up at Keeley's house asking her to pick one of them. Instead of picking neither, she picks both. (Feel free to have the canon divergence earlier as well so Jamie and Roy don't actually physically fight over her and instead come to her with a proposition and not an ultimatum.)
  • Five times the Richmond boys were confused about Roy, Keeley, and Jamie's relationship, and one time they weren't.
  • If you're into smut, the three of them having sex in Jamie's childhood bedroom. Risking getting caught, gags/muffling each other's noises, coitus interruptus all very good.

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

Lance Hunter/Bobbi Morse: I don't really subscribe to OTP culture but these two are the closest I have to an OTP. They have fascinated me from their first interaction and seeing as how I love exes-to-lovers it's like they were made for me. There's a line Hunter says in season 2 that really encompasses what I love about their relationship - "We can be new people, better people". They constantly are striving to change and make things work and even when shit hits the fan they find their way back to each other.

Alphonso Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: I just think it's really interesting that of the close M&F friendships in AOS, Bobbi and Mack's was the one that never turned romantic. They obviously have such a deep respect and appreciation of each other, not to mention the intimacy that comes with years of being friends, and I think they could just as easily find a romantic connection as the other two M&F friendships did. In short: let them kiss.

Lance Hunter/Alphonso Mackenzie/Bobbi Morse: Listen, there's just so much history with these three. I have tried and failed to figure out how their timelines fit together but regardless, the history... it's perfection. Basically combine what I love about Bobbi/Mack and Bobbi/Hunter and add in a dash of non-toxic masculinity in Hunter/Mack's relationship and you have the perfect mix.

Melinda May/Bobbi Morse: Sapphic spies, yes! I love both of these women separately and together (their revenge mission going after Ward was the best thing ever) and I would just love more of it. Kicking ass, taking names, healing trauma together... we love to see it.

Daisy Johnson/Daniel Sousa: Finally, a love interest for Daisy who is not evil and does not die! I just think their relationship was so sweet and relatively well-developed for such the short amount of time they had to do it, and I always crave more of them being sweet and kickass together.

Fandom-specific DNWs: Grant Ward as a hero (as a villain/antagonist is fine), Deke Shaw (in any role), Daisy Johnson/Phil Coulson romantically, Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons romantically

Additional Prompts:

  • An Academy AU. That's it that's the prompt. (If you do go this route I'm fine with the requested characters being either teachers or students, but please no teacher/student relationships <3)
  • Divergence during or after Parting Shot. Change what happens in the episode, change who leaves (Bobbi and Hunter can stay, only one of them has to leave, they both leave but someone else goes with them, whatever.) How does that change their lives, and the rest of season 3?
  • Didn't know they were dating! One (or more) person/people are oblivious to the fact that they've been in a relationship with another for... days/months/years/however long tickles you. Bonus points if they realize they were in a relationship when the other person proposes.
  • Bonus Prompt: Inhuman!AU. Give more people Inhuman powers and have them figure them out. (If you do go this route, please still give Daisy her Inhuman powers -- I really don't like AUs that give Daisy's powers to someone else.)

Raelle Collar & Abigail Bellweather & Tally Craven: I love how all three of these girls balance each other. They see the world very differently and it's the differing perspectives that allows them to be so strong together. I love their early season dynamics and as with Abigail/Raelle above, I didn't really enjoy how season 3 seemed to mostly split them up or make their love interests more important.

Raelle Collar/Abigail Bellweather/Tally Craven: The only way to make a found family better is to make it a polycule. Basically everything I said above about their platonic relationship, but also... let them kiss. Let it be messy (don't date your coworkers, or something?).

Tally Craven/M: Listen, there were points in season 3 where I totally thought these two were going to bang and that was what kept me watching. M is such an interesting character to me (see below) and also obviously feels protective of the Bellweather unit. I would love to see how their protection of the unit bleeds over into a romantic relationship. Also, I feel bad for Tally because Gregorio was the least developed of any of the unit's love interests and mostly seemed to be there so she wouldn't be the only one left alone.

M & None: I LOVE M. Adding a non-binary person into a world that seems so strictly divided into binaries was a stroke of genius and I just wish that the show had taken it further. When did M come out? When did they know they weren't a girl/woman? What was life like for them as an enby in this highly-gendered world? I just desperately want more of M and their story.

Fandom-specific DNW: Tally Craven/Sarah Alder romantically Additional Prompts:

The Old Guard Andy/Quynh: Oh my God, tragic sapphics. The fact that Andy still thinks about Quynh hundreds of years after they last saw each other… literally just stab me and twist the knife. I love the idea of undying love like that, but also what their love looked like before Quynh died (especially since I think it was implied that at some point Quynh and Lykon were an item?). Again, I am such a blank slate when it comes to these two, anything you create I will love.

Andy (/Quynh) & Nile & Joe & Nicky: -chants- Team as family!

  • Take a rom-com, any rom-com.
  • I think it was implied at some point in the movie that the guard didn't always work for good -- I'd love to hear them talk with Nile about that, what changed their minds, etc. etc. Alternatively, dark!Guard would be a fun thing to explore too -- what makes them snap? What damage can four (or five) pissed off immortals do?
  • Any sort of mission fic. Send them out on a rescue mission, a heist, a vacation that goes wrong... I just like to see them working together as a team having a good time (or an absolutely wretched time, if you would like).

The Orville

Kelly Grayson/Ed Mercer: Unfortunately my exes-to-lovers heart strikes again. I think Ed and Kelly are really interesting because the reason for their break-up actually isn't a reason at all anymore (since I firmly believe that Darulio was in heat when he and Kelly had sex and therefore she didn't cheat). I also think they're really interesting because they work together so closely and have to rely on each other completely. There's an intimacy there that really is only missing sex to be a romantic relationship.

Additional Prompts:

  • Canon divergence from any episode you want where Kelly and Ed get back together. Some possible divergence points: the season 1 finale (Kelly agrees to keep trying to make things work), the season 2 penultimate episode (Kelly's jealousy of her younger self makes her swallow her pride to ask Ed back), the season 3 episode where Ed discovers he has a daughter (just saying, they were alone in a hotel together and there were big feelings in the air...).
  • Ed and Kelly start a family together -- whether this be by finding Anaya, adopting a child, or having a biological child of their own.
  • The most boring, mundane AU you can think of. Coffee shop. Library. Take something as far away from sci-fi as you can get and make it still recognizable as adjacent to the Orville canon.

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! I still have yet to learn how to make Dreamwidth posts look pretty so apologies for any wonky formatting.

Grace Ryder & Tommy Vega: Their friendship means the world to me! Basically everything about their relationship is what I love in F&F friendships - they are so solidly there for each other no matter what happens, and they have just gone through so much of life together between Tommy's infertility struggles, Judd being a stubborn son of a bitch, everything that happens in canon including Charles's death... They just know each other so deeply and intimately and I am here for anything that shows how beautiful and powerful their friendship is. I'm cool with whatever background romantic relationships you may want to throw in for Tommy but please don't break up Grace and Judd! <3

Requested Tags:
Canon-Style Plot, Slice of Life, Fluff

Additional Prompts:

  • I would love to see more about how the deaths of the previous 126 affected Grace; I think we tend to see it as Judd's trauma but I'd be willing to bet that Grace knew them and loved them too, the same way she knows and loves the current 126. How you loop Tommy in here is totally up to you - maybe Tommy is the only one Grace feels comfortable talking to because so many people see it as Judd's trauma and she doesn't want to take support away from him?
  • Anything set pre-canon! How did Grace and Tommy meet? How did they become friends? Are there other women in their group of friends (maybe their church friends?).
  • This is kind of a random one, but I would love to see Grace and Tommy doing Painfully Texan(tm) things like barbecuing, mechanical bull riding, whatever Texas stereotypes you have in your head. I'm not Texan but I just think this would be funny.

Bones Jack Hodgins & Seeley Booth: One of the funniest things to me in Bones is how Booth still calls Hodgins "bug boy" after over a decade of friendship. Hodgins' conspiracy-mindedness is so at odds with Booth's strict by-the-bookness but there's also always such a palpable respect between them. Also, with their wives being best friends I am sure they also have to spend time together doing whatever it is guys do together lol.

Jack Hodgins/Angela Montenegro: Ah, the beginning of my obsession with messy side ships. Hodgela were so unexpected for me but they also check all my boxes. I love that they broke up and then found their way back to each other, that they were honest with all their thoughts and feelings, that they got through so much hard shit together. I just want to see them happy, in love, and thriving.

Requested Tags: AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-Style Plot, Established Relationship, Fluff, Slice of Life

Additional Prompts:

  • Booth is the conspiracy theorist and Hodgins is the straight man. What conspiracy could cause this role reversal?
  • Any sort of case fic, especially one that relies on Hodgins and Angela's expertise rather than being solely in the bones
  • Anything post-canon of everyone just hanging out, being happy, having a good time (with Hodgins as king of the lab

The Good Place Chidi Anagonye/Eleanor Shellstrop: The Good Place's thesis that soulmates are the people you choose to love is honestly one of my favorite things and I love how it's exemplified through these two. It's not because of some cosmic thing or even because they're perfect for each other, just that every time they meet they're willing to do the work. Find Chidi remains the moment in this show that always makes me lose my goddamn mind and I just think it says so much about Chidi as a human that every time Eleanor seeks him out, he's ready to help her.

Chidi Anagonye/Simone Garrett/Eleanor Shellstrop: Chidi has two hands. Honestly I've never considered this ship before but I loved Simone and I also loved how Chidi loved her. I feel like this could have been canon if polyamory was more mainstream, just because both Simone and Eleanor are so good for Chidi in different ways and I think they could be good for each other, too.

Requested Tags:
AU - Modern/Mundane, AU - Genre Shift, Getting Together

DNW Exception: Feel free to include time loops, since that's a canonical element (ish) and I don't mind how they were handled in canon.

Additional Prompts:
  • Any of the loops we didn't get to see while Eleanor and Chidi were in The Bad Place. This can be a deep exploration of one loop, several loops explored in less depth, whatever makes you happy!
  • Maybe some sort of academics!AU where Chidi, Eleanor, and Simone all work at the same university? I'm sure you're smarter than I am and can figure out how that would make sense while also tying it to themes of the original show.
  • This might be a weird one, but maybe a fusion with Everything Everywhere All at Once? Instead of looping, the different versions of Eleanor and Chidi (and Simone if you include her) meet through verse hopping.

The Hobbit Bilbo Baggins/Thorin Oakenshield: Okay, so my villain origin story is that my dad used to read The Hobbit to me as a child but left out the horrible ending where everyone gets slaughtered (which, you know, I was six years old so probably a good choice, but) so when I saw the Peter Jackson movie for the first time I was emotionally unprepared for... well, everything. My goal since then has always been to recapture the childlike innocence of believing everything will turn out okay and I feel like that's deeply tied to Bilbo and Thorin's love story. I want them to be okay, I want Thorin to be King Under the Mountain, I want good to triumph over evil and love to prevail.

Requested Tags: AU - Canon Divergence, Fix-it fic, Getting Together

Additional Prompts:
  • I've seen a lot of fem!Bilbo fics but not a lot of fem!Thorin and I just think that would be neat. I honestly can't remember how dwarven succession works, but I'm sure Thorin's gender changing would change something about the way he was perceived, etc. etc.
  • Similar vein: role reversal where Bilbo is the exiled king and Thorin is the scrappy outsider who starts out on the wrong foot.
  • Thorin proposing to Bilbo in a traditional Dwarvish way and Bilbo not understanding because he, bless his heart, still has barely learned anything about dwarves

Marvel Cinematic Universe Scott Lang & Steve Rogers: Scott is just so earnest and good and his obvious respect and admiration for Steve was just so !!! I would love to see some of that respect reciprocated -- Scott is so often the butt of the joke when the Avengers team up because of the whole Ant-Man thing but I think especially post-Infinity War Steve must respect him a lot. I would love to see their relationship expanded on.

Bruce Banner/Thor: Post-Ragnarok I had some serious feelings about these two. Bruce being stuck as the Hulk for as long as he was would've been seriously traumatic and obviously Thor losing his family and home is equally traumatic and I just think they could heal together. I also feel like there's something interesting there about their relative strengths and being the strongest Avengers and, yeah...

Steve Rogers/Natasha Romanov: Ugh. Ugh. What can I even say about these two other than that they had so much potential that was again so wasted. I love the easy camaraderie between the two of them, especially during Winter Solider, and they are able to be so themselves around each other in ways I don't think they really get to be around others in their lives and it's just. So good.

Steve Rogers & Avengers Team: Steve is just one of my blorbos and I want him to be loved and supported by the people around him. That's really it. There was so much that he never got to process because of the pandemonium of being an Avenger and all of that, but I want more of the downtime and the developing friendships and all the other things we really only get from fanfic.

Peggy Carter/Steve Rogers: I just think about what they could've been... Steve respecting Peggy even though she was a woman, Peggy respecting Steve even when he was a scrawny little guy... it's just the mutual respect. I saw all of Agent Carter if you want to incorporate any elements of that canon. I prefer if you do Peggy/Steve that it doesn't incorporate Steve going back at the end of Infinity War, but rather a Steve-always-stayed AU or some other way he goes back or she comes forward.

Clint Barton/Natasha Romanov: The part of me that still lives in 2012 is still heartbroken that these two never got to be anything other than friends. "You know what it's like to be unmade?" / "You know I do." lives in my head rent-free. I would love to see anything and everything about what turned them into the people and agents they are today and how they got to be so close, and just... yeah. Bring me the 2012-era goodness.

Michelle Jones & Ned Leeds & Peter Parker: These kids just make me so happy. I love how the Spider-Man movies are so very grounded and how they have so many normal kid problems in addition to the Spider-Man adjacent ones. I also love that Ned is never the third wheel even after MJ and Peter start dating -- he's always valued and loved and just... I love them.

Yelena Belova & Natasha Romanov: Bro... bro. Just. The entirety of the Black Widow movie lives rent-free in my brain and then seeing Yelena grieve... I just can't even. I love the idea of family being created by love rather than blood and that even though Natasha didn't want to let someone in she did for Yelena.Yelena getting dusted and coming back to find her sister gone? Just stab me through the heart.

Requested Tags: Action/Adventure, Canon-Style Plot, Character Development, Fix-it fic, Worldbuilding

Fandom-Specific DNW: I would prefer Laura Barton not be mentioned/really exist at all. Her and the farmhouse and the kids' existence felt like such an ex machina to me and I just... yeah, not into it.

Additional Prompts:
  • Role reversal of any kind. Switch who has what powers, switch who has what backstory, switch whatever! The only role reversal I wouldn't want is changing characters' sides on the Accords, if you choose to include those at all (and honestly, I'm fine if you don't)
  • Anything set during the Snap that shows the reality of what it would be like to lose so many people so quickly - or directly after people come back, when people are coming back to loved ones who have had to live lives without them and might have moved on
  • Time travel, but make it make sense! (I seriously don't understand the explanations of time travel in the MCU so just like... don't explain it and my little pea brain will be happy.) Any time travel welcome, especially if it involves fix-it.

Requested Tags: AU - Canon Divergence, Canon-Style Plot, Getting Together, Worldbuilding

  • Arranged marriage? I don't know how you would swing this but I think any sort of forced proximity where they're forced to confront that the bickering hides genuine affection and care is absolutely ace.
  • Go wild with worldbuilding and use Abigail and Raelle as a framing device for whatever worldbuilding you would like to do! Of particular interest to me is magical history and how queer people fit into this world of magic, but if that's not your jam do what calls to you.

Andy & Nile & Joe & Nicky (& Quynh):-chants- Team as family!

Requested Tags: Action/Adventure, Canon-Style Plot, Character Development, Established Relationship, Slice of Life, Worldbuilding

Additional Prompts:
  • Take a rom-com, any rom-com.

Star Wars Sequel Trilogy Character: Poe Dameron: We know so little about Poe and it drives me a little bonkers! How'd he learn to fly? How'd he join the resistance? Who are his friends/relationships outside of Leia? Who and what made him the person he is, and does he like that person? I know there wasn't a lot of time to do a deep dive into every character's psyche but Poe in particular is someone I wish we had gotten to see more of.
Poe(/Finn)(/Rey): I'm putting Poe/Finn, Poe/Rey, and Poe/Finn/Rey all in one section because most of what I have to say is the same: their relationships had so much potential and it was thrown away for the sake of plot twists and Kylo. There's such genuine affection and warmth between all three of them, which neither Rey nor Finn really got to experience before. I love Poe being the one to give them the love they deserve, and for them to love him in return (either separately or together). Requested Tags: AU - Modern/Mundane, AU - Canon Divergence, AU - Genre Shift, Canon-Style Plot, Getting Together, Worldbuilding

Additional Prompts:
  • Take any scene or events from the movie that we don't see Poe's perspective on, and write his perspective.
It's the end of The Mane Event 2023! I had such a blast with this exchange and it introduced me to a new ship I love. Without further ado:

I Wrote:
sorry about the blood in your mouth (i wish it were mine)
Giftee: Tavina
Ship: Cho Chang/Viktor Krum (Harry Potter)
Summary: Voldemort is waging war on the British Isles, the Chosen One is nowhere to be found, and Viktor Krum shows up to a meeting with blood in his hair. The world is getting worse.

I Received:
Weaving Through the Tangles
Author: flipflop_diva
Ship: Harry Potter/Hermione Granger (Harry Potter)
Summary: It starts with a broken comb. It ends with something a whole lot better. A moment between Harry and Hermione during the events of Deathly Hallows.
(Still under construction, but like halfway done!)

Hello, and thank you for creating for me! This is my first time posting a letter on Dreamwidth so apologies in advance if the formatting is a little wonky - I'm trying! :) (I wish there were more coding tutorials on how to make nice pretty Dreamwidth posts.)

I like to begin all my letters by saying that I care about you having a good time writing more than anything else! I include extra prompts as a way of getting the creative juices flowing, not because I will be distraught if you don't follow one of them exactly. Mostly, just avoid my DNWs and we'll be golden. I've also written a lot (like a lot) of fics on AO3, so if you want to see what I gravitate towards, that might also give you an idea.

Without further ado!

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Bobbi Morse/Lance Hunter: Exes to lovers is one of my favorite tropes - I love the idea that someone could be the right person at the wrong time, or the right person once you two both grow up a little and admit you're flawed. I don't think they have the healthiest relationship, exactly, but I think there's genuine love there and if they learned how to communicate a bit better they could be the definition of a power couple. I don't really subscribe to OTP culture but these two are the closest I have to an OTP and scratch my fandom itches in the way not a lot of ships do.

Bobbi Morse/Skye | Daisy Johnson:

Bobbi Morse/Alphonso Mackenzie: I just think they're neat. I also think it's a little bizarre that of all the long-term heterosexual friendships (Bobbi&Mack, Fitz&Simmons, Coulson&May), Bobbi and Mack's was the one that was never implied to have been or would be able to become romantic. They are so solidly in each other's corners the whole time

Bobbi Morse/Alphonso Mackenzie/Lance Hunter

Solo: Bobbi Morse:
In case you couldn't tell. I just really think she's neat.

Fandom-Specific Dislikes:
  • Bobbi Morse/Clint Barton
  • Deke Shaw
  • Grant Ward
  • Leo Fitz/Jemma Simmons romantically
  • Ship-bashing (re-iterating this here because I read way too many Bobbi fics that bash Bobbi/Hunter because she ends up with someone else; while I hope it's obvious I like Bobbi/Hunter since it's one of my requested ships this exchange, I am once again saying I like Bobbi/Hunter and if you choose one of the other Bobbi ships to focus on for your fic, please don't make Hunter an irredeemable asshole or imply their divorce was entirely Hunter's fault <3)

Additional Prompts:
  • Bobbi's utter lack of surprise at Hunter's "I prefer you blonde" makes me think that has happened before. What was the first time?
  • Who takes care of Bobbi's hair after she's tortured by Ward?
  • Mission fic!

Friday Night LightsTyra Colette/Tim Riggins: So, confession, I watched the entirety of Friday Night Lights while recovering from my wisdom teeth being removed so I was like, heavily medicated and not much capable of following a plot 😂 FNL kind of imprinted on my id because of that experience, Tim/Tyra especially. I thought their relationship had a lot of room for growth and complexity and relationship growth is like catnip to me, so there's that. If you do write Tim/Tyra, I prefer that Tim/Lyla is mentioned minimally or not at all, since it kind of squicks me out that so many people romanticize a relationship that began with Lyla cheating on Jason.

Requested Tags: Caring for character's hair turns unexpectedly tender, hair washing, touch starved character gets their hair stroked, pregnancy makes hair change texture and luster, pulling hair during rough sex, pulling partner's hair while fucking them doggy style, pulling partner's hair while receiving cunnilingus

Additional Prompts:
  • Tyra taking care of Tim's hair following his return from prison (I honestly can't remember how this would fit into her canon timeline, but as I said: my brain was not fully invested in understanding timelines when watching this show lol)
  • Rough sex as a way for Tyra to reclaim her agency following being assaulted
  • Post-canon getting back together

Harry Potter Harry Potter/Hermione Granger: I just think they had so much potential. I love that Hermione and Harry are on a relatively even keel throughout the books; they care about each other deeply and Harry tries to humor Hermione and her bookish tendencies even when he doesn’t necessarily agree with them. I think Harry and Hermione also represent two ways to be successful – Harry is naturally talented (and lucky), whereas Hermione works hard to get where she is. I'm not sure how that relates to hair, but...

Hermione Granger/Viktor Krum: This ship had so much potential! I love that Hermione can be a partner for Viktor who does not give a single shit about his fame, both because she doesn’t care that much about Quidditch and because her best friend is, frankly, way more famous than Viktor will ever be. Equally I love that Viktor pays attention to Hermione and sees her as more than just an extension of Harry, and cares about her/is attracted to her even before the other boys notice she’s pretty. He loves her when she's bushy-haired and awkward and when she's sleek and shiny and beautiful.

Nymphadora Tonks/Remus Lupin:
I just think they're neat 🥺 I love that Tonks brings out the youth in Remus and makes him realize that he's not "damaged goods" because he's a werewolf, and that he balances out her more firecracker type personality. They're a great example of opposites attract and I am so sad that their story ended before it even started. They should've gotten to raise Teddy and grow old together and every time I think about it I'm sad they didn't get that happy ever after.

Solo: Remus Lupin: I just have so many feelings about my poor little wolf boy. It absolutely breaks my heart that he was the last of his friends alive and had to live with that burden. Also, as above, I hate that he died.

Requested Tags:

Additional Prompts:
  • "We deserve a soft epilogue, my love, for we are good people and we've suffered enough."
  • Who takes care of Remus's hair after his wolf-y days? Especially when he's serving the Order as a werewolf I imagine it's not exactly cushy.
  •

The Hobbit Bilbo Baggins/Thorin Oakenshield: Honestly this is one of those ships where I barely remember the original canon but the fanon has eclipsed it in basically every way. I just want more of them and their story, preferably with a happy ending and a found family and all that juicy fun stuff. A lot of the fanon I love surrounds dwarves and using their braids to indicate relationship status, so that's what my tags for this fandom are mostly about that phenomenon.

Requested Tags: Hair styles indicate relationship status, Learning To Do Partner's Culturally Significant Braids/Hairstyle

Additional Prompts:
  • Bilbo learning about the dwarves' hair on the journey
  •

The Old GuardAndy/Quynh: Oh my God, tragic sapphics.

Additional Prompts:
  • Cutting/altering hair is a big thing in historical East Asian culture with filial piety. How does Quynh balance her culture with practicality?
  •

The Orville Kelly Grayson/Ed Mercer:

Requested Tags: Pregnancy makes hair change in texture and luster, Blood in hair, Gently brushing out long wet and tangled hair of upset character, Hair Care in the Future, Hair brushing as comfort, Hair stroking as comfort, Pulling Partner's Hair While Receiving Cunnilingus
